A 90-year-old man & his 2 dogs escaped his burning trailer home with the help of neighbors Tuesday night, according to Rural/Metro officials. The home is a total loss and Red Cross is aiding the resident. LOANED VIDEO/RURAL METRO FIRE
The Yuma Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 8000 block of Topeka Place at around 3 a.m. Tuesday (6/9/09). The residents of the home were able to escape uninjured, alerted by smoke detectors in the home.

City of Yuma firefighters responded to a house fire in the 1700 block of Camino Pradera Monday evening. It is unknown at this time where the fire started, but it quickly spread to the attic and roof.
